Leiter von autonomen mobility solutions, Torsten Gollewski bietet uns einen Expertenblick in die Zukunft der Individuellen Mobilität. Wir wollten wissen wie das für den individuellen Konsumenten bedeutet und wie sie aussieht: Autonom fahrende, elektrische Fahrzeuge werden jederzeit zur Verfügung stehen um Passagiere auf Abruf von A nach B zu befördern. ZF nennt das Robo-Taxis - und sie sind keine Konzepte mehr, sondern Fahrzeuge, die schon heute zum Einsatz kommen können.

For ZF the goal is #MobilityLifeBalance at ZF. Today overwhelmingly cities are dominated by various forms of transportation, traffic jams, noise and emissions, so much it has affected not only individual stress levels but also the climate. ZF is investing in offering a complete portfolio of fully electric mobility options to reduce noise, emissions so that cities can focus again onto human interaction and activities while protecting the climate. For example their EVplus Plug-In hybrid. It can either be driven fully electric a combustion engine for longer vacations or road trips.

ZF hat stark in die Entwicklung von neuen Sicherheitssystemen investiert. Die häufigsten und auch gefährlichsten Unfälle sind seitliche Aufprall Situationen. Bisher kannte man Air-bags nur als Sicherheitssysteme im inneren des Wagens. ZF hat dieses Konzept noch weiter entwickelt und Externe Seiten Air-Bags geschaffen. Diese werden durch höchst komplexe Sensorik erfasst und innerhalb 1\100 Mili Sekunde geöffnet um den Passagier nicht nur innerhalb der Kabine durch interne frontale Airbags zu schützen, sondern den Aufpralls von aussen bereits zu vermindern.

ZF has truly invested in the advancement of safety features. Some of the most common and dangerous accidents on today's roads are not frontal, but side-on collisions. So far we have mostly seen airbags to protect passengers in the inside of the cabin. ZF took this a step further and has created external side airbag systems. These external side airbags are triggered by highly complex sensors to be release within 1\100 of a mili second to protect the passengers on the inside of the cabin not only though internal airbags but absorb the shock from the outside of the vehicle as well.

ZF presented the world’s first pre-crash occupant safety system with an external side airbag that can deploy before a collision. It can help reduce occupant injury severity for side impact collisions by up to 40 percent.
